During this project, A-Tech identified suspect hazardous materials at the construction site that were not sampled during the initial limited assessment performed by another contractor. This prevented a potential hazard of unsafe work activities; if demolition activities occurred prior to their removal, all personnel on-site could have been exposed to these hazardous materials. Identifying these suspect hazardous materials allowed the client to take the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of site personnel and the environment.
