Water Quality Regulations
This course will review California water quality regulations, relevant provisions of California state law and regulations and the federal Clean Water Act. The Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act gives the Water Boards the authority to protect groundwater and surface waters of the State of California. During this interactive workshop, instructors will provide case studies, strategies and recommendations for effectively meeting regulatory requirements. Additional regulations and standards applicable to construction and industry will be covered in the workshop.
